CHAPTER - 4
User surveys AI
In order to better understand AI, I conducted a study* on usage habits, to better understand what users are looking for and how they use it. For this I made a questionnaire with about twenty questions which are available on this link. On the whole, the people who answered me are between 21 and 25 years old and are mostly students or employees.

Across the board, users are using AI mostly to draw ideas and inspiration, as we would through platforms like Pinterest, Behance, or Dribble. The AI also allows them to rephrase sentences, prepare their organizational plan and write emails.

Think AI needs to be controlled
AI can be a great source of inspiration when you are short of ideas, its speed saves time in finding information, however it remains a fairly limited tool because you still have to check the sources and see if the information is still current, not originally fromDeep Faking Orfake news.
For the majority of users, AI must be controlled at the level of user data collection, misinformation, manipulation for political or sectarian purposes, but also for copyright in order to avoid plagiarism. The AI must comply with the European GDPR standards and protect consumers by imposing the mention "made with an AI".
Even if the AI can be scary vis-à-vis the creative trades, it currently has no capacity for imagination if its user does not have one and does not know what he wants to do. Also AI works tend to be very smooth and quickly identical, lacking a certain sensitivity to create emotion.
So without the human behind the machine the creative mind does not exist
AI can therefore be a perfect tool for research and creation if it is used wisely, while keeping a certain distance in order to verify the information and then rework the AI renderings so as not to have a too formal rendering without real originality. Even if customers might find it easier to go through an AI than a creative, they will quickly be limited and will not have the necessary expertise on the quality of renderings and their optimization. The work of a creative therefore remains essential, while being aware of the latest technologies, learning to master them in order to save time and be focused on the ideas and the meaning he wishes to give them. As photography has not replaced painting or Illustrator drawing, technology will not replace humans.
The other point raised by users is that of ecology, because AI consumes a lot of energy and data... what will be the consequences? From an ecological point of view, will it be necessary to reduce the uses of AI or find ways to make a green AI that respects the environment?
