Alejandro Matamala-Ortiz, Anastasis Germanidis and Cristóbal Valenzuela, are the founders of Runway AI created in 2018, developing this application in the field of video editing. Today many users on Tik Tok, Youtube and even the cinema have used this technology.

 

Runway offers many tools including online video editing with audio tracks, and allows you to do collaborative projects, remove backgrounds or objects from videos and do tracking.

Runway Gen-1 allowed to create a video from a reference video in the form of assisted post-production. With Gen-2, we can now do "text to video" as we can do via Midjourney via prompts and therefore create a video from a description.
